Indeth
Advanced Toxin Course
This full day course will cover the lower face areas where botulinum toxin type A can be used. These are “off label” uses. There is theoretical content, where you will learn the anatomy of the facial muscles, including the position, the origin, the insertion, and the action of each muscle, I believe this is important to really understand the logic behind these treatments. Details will be given on the techniques and doses. You will also carry out most of these treatments on live models. There will be pre-course information, you will receive a training manual and an A4 notepad.
Nefertiti neck lift
Used to soften the sight of the platysma bands and improve the jaw line
Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO)
Used to reduce the downturned mouth corners.
Mentalis
Treated to reduce the appearance of the “orange peel” or cobblestone chin”
Masseter muscle
To reduce teeth clenching and to slim a square jaw.
Gummy Smile
Treatment to reduce the gingival show when smiling.
Bunnie lines
Can be a consequence of having toxin treatments, treatment here can reduce the appearance of these
lines.
Brow lifting
Techniques are shown to assist in elevating the brow in those patients with a naturally heavy brow or
to reduce the heavy brow if a consequence of frontalis treatment.
Hyperhidrosis treatment
For the axilla and the palms – Excessive sweating.
